ご挨拶
国立大学法人千葉大学 国際未来教育基幹キャビネット高等教育センター（以下「千葉大学高等教育センター」）は，千葉大学の全学的な教育機能の強化と学修・学生支援の充実に向けて，教育に係る方針・計画の策定，全学的な教育プログラムの企画・立案，評価の実施に総合的に取り組むことを目的として，国際未来教育基幹の再編・強化の枠組みの中で令和4年4月に設置されました。
今日，高等教育は転換期を迎えています。中央教育審議会答申『2040年に向けた高等教育のグランドデザイン』（平成30年）に示される「学修者本位の教育」の実現，令和4年の大学設置基準の改訂に則した教育体制の実現，またコロナ禍の下での緊急対応を超えて教育・学習のデジタル化に対応し，国際的に競争力を持つ教育の実現など，高等教育機関は正解といえるような対応策を見出しづらい課題に取り組んでいかなければなりません。また各大学には，それぞれのビジョンに適した解を見つけることが求められています。
本学では，令和3年7月に策定された千葉大学ビジョンを踏まえ次世代人材育成を推進しています。その下で，千葉大学高等教育センターは，国際未来教育基幹を構成する各センター，また各学部・学府・研究科と連携・協力し，研究大学にふさわしい全学的な教育改革を実現するために，大学院教育の拡充や新たな教育プログラムの開発等を先導するとともに，それらの改革の基盤となるデータを収集・分析し，「データ駆動型」の教育改革を牽引していきたいと考えています。この様な取り組みは，上に述べたような課題に対して千葉大学に適した解を見つける作業ということになるだろうと思っています。
困難な課題に立ち向かうことになりますが，皆様方のご理解，ご協力をよろしくお願いします。

In April 2022, the Chiba University Center for Innovative Higher Education (hereafter referred to as "the Center") was established to restructure and strengthen the Institution for Excellence in Higher Education. The Center's main objectives are to create educational policies and plans, design comprehensive educational programs, and implement evaluation schemes to enhance Chiba University's educational functions and student support.
Today, higher education is at a turning point. We are facing numerous complex challenges, such as achieving student-centered education as proposed in the Central Council for Education's report "Grand Design for Higher Education Toward 2040" (2018), complying with the University Establishment Standards revised in 2022, advancing digitalization further taking advantage of what we incorporated in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and providing internationally competitive education. Each university must develop strategic initiatives to achieve its goals.
Chiba University aims to develop next-generation human resources based on the Chiba University Aspirations formulated in July 2021. The Center is responsible for expanding post-graduate education and developing new education programs in collaboration with each center constituting the Institute for Excellence in Educational Innovation and faculties and graduate schools to achieve comprehensive educational reforms worthy of being a leading research university. The Center also emphasizes data analysis to lead data-driven reforms. We believe such efforts will facilitate us in discovering solutions to the challenges mentioned above.
